About
Evie Irie landed a major label deal with Republic Records after a single trip to Los Angeles, which says a lot about how quickly her songs got people's attention. The Sydney pop singer and songwriter had only planned to stay a week, but extended it to five, and by the end of that stretch she had written her debut EP, 5 Weeks in LA, released in 2019. She went on to tour with Norwegian singer Sigrid and British band Bastille, then put out two companion EPs in 2020, The Optimist and The Pessimist, the second following just two months after the first. That same year she teamed up with producer Dillon Francis on the single "Be Somebody". Her most recent single listed is "Danny DeVito (I Want It)", and lately she has been sharing a track called "Kiss and Run" online, plus a music video for "Laila" from September 2025.
