About
Behind the alias Bnnyhunna is Benjamin Ankomah, a central figure in the Amsterdam jazz scene. His debut album Echoes of Prayer earned him the Edison music prize, one of the most prestigious awards in Dutch music. Under the banner of Faithful Frequencies, Ankomah works as a multi instrumentalist and composer pulling together gospel, rhythm and melody into something that feels closer to a spiritual experience than a conventional gig. The project is built around a full live band and choir, giving the whole thing a communal, almost ceremonial weight.
