Melbourne metalcore outfit Feed Her to the Sharks built their reputation the hard way, grinding through Australian tours as support for Asking Alexandria, Born of Osiris, and Suicide Silence before landing a deal with Victory Records in 2014. Their three studio albums trace a clear arc: the self released debut The Beauty of Falling, followed by Savage Seas, and then Fortitude in 2015, which came loaded with music videos for tracks like "Chasing Glory" and "Burn The Traitor" and earned them a slot at the Mayhem Festival in the US. Their sound sits in melodic metalcore territory, mixing aggressive riffs with cleaner melodic elements. The band called it quits in early 2019, but not before one final milestone: opening for Killswitch Engage on a tour with Iron Maiden in 2024, a fitting send off for a band that spent years paying their dues on the touring circuit.
