About
Fiesta Cubana brings together the full breadth of Cuban music, moving between melancholic ballads and high energy dance music. The project is led by singer and musician Tomás Sotolongo Fuentes, who assembled a group of talented musicians to dig through the treasures of the Cuban musical canon. The repertoire leans on compositions that many listeners will recognise from the Buena Vista Social Club catalogue or from time spent in Cuba itself, with a few lesser known gems thrown into the mix.
