Fil Bo Riva is the project of Italian singer, songwriter and producer Filippo Bonamici, whose sound weaves together indie rock, indie pop, folk and soul in a way that puts his distinctively warm voice front and centre. Based in Berlin, he built a serious live reputation through support slots with acts like Milky Chance and Imagine Dragons before graduating to his own headline runs, three sold out tours, and appearances at festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival and Lollapalooza. His debut EP If You're Right, It's Alright laid the groundwork, but it was the 2019 album Beautiful Sadness on Humming Records that became his defining statement. The single L'impossibile broke into the top 30 on Italian radio, and that same year he received a nomination for the Music Moves Europe Talent Award. He has kept a steady stream of music coming since, with singles and a second album, Modern Melancholia, arriving in 2024.
