Fizzy Blood have been making noise out of Leeds since 2014, blending alternative rock with enough edge to earn slots at Reading and Leeds Festivals, Download Festival, and South by Southwest. The five piece, made up of Benji Inkley, Paul Howells, Jake Greenway, Ciaran Scanlon and Tim Malkin, put out two EPs early on: Feast in 2015 through DMF Records and Summer Of Luv in 2017 via Killing Moon and Alya Records. On the road, they've shared stages with Dead Kennedys, While She Sleeps and Dinosaur Pile Up, which says a lot about the kind of crowd they attract. Recognition came in the form of a Momentum Music Fund grant from PRS for Music, plus nods from Metro and Team Rock as ones to watch. Supporting Spring King in early 2018 added another solid entry to a growing list of UK shows.
