Flight Facilities are a Sydney duo, Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell, who quietly started out remixing other people's tracks before landing one of the most played Australian electronic songs of 2010. That song was "Crave You", a collaboration with vocalist Giselle Rosselli that hit number 19 in the Triple J Hottest 100 and soundtracked a Myer TV campaign. They kept the momentum going with "Foreign Language" and "Clair de Lune", both charting in subsequent Hottest 100s, and in 2013 got an unexpected boost when their remix of "Shine a Light" turned up in Grand Theft Auto V. Their debut album Down to Earth, released in 2014, featured a pretty stacked guest list including Kylie Minogue, Reggie Watts and Emma Louise, reached number 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart and went gold. A live album recorded with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra won the ARIA Award for Best Classical Album in 2016. Their second studio album Forever followed in November 2021, and the duo rounded that chapter out with the two track EP Lost Forever in late 2022.
