About
Also known as: Progressive History X (Ten Years of Fluke)
Fluke started out pressing white label vinyl in the late 80s and ended up soundtracking video games and blockbuster films. Their track "Atom Bomb" was made for Wipeout 2097 and went on to hit number 20 in the UK singles chart, while their music later turned up in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Matrix Reloaded and Need for Speed: Underground. The Buckinghamshire trio of Jon Fugler, Mike Tournier and Mike Bryant never stayed in one lane. They moved from the techno of The Techno Rose of Blighty to the uplifting house of Six Wheels on My Wagon, then to the darker, downtempo mood of Oto, with big beat in the mix too. DJ Sasha loved "Slid" so much he put three remixes of it on his Renaissance album. After a long hiatus they came back in 2024 with "Insanely Beautiful", and The Second Bite followed in 2026.
