About
Fort Romeau is the project of Michael Greene, an English producer and DJ who cut his teeth in the touring band of electro pop duo La Roux before going solo in 2012. His debut album Kingdoms landed that year on the US label 100% Silk, and he followed it with Insides in 2015 on Ghostly International, a record that mixes house, kraut, ambient and techno rather than sticking to one lane. Greene also runs his own label, Cin Cin, which he set up with Ali Tillett and which puts out split EPs from newcomers and veterans alike. His third album, Beings of Light, arrived in 2022, again through Ghostly. Along the way he has remixed the likes of Gold Panda, Cut Copy and Alt J, and teamed up with Vampire Weekend's Chris Baio as C.Y.M., whose self titled debut came out in October 2025.
