Fred Delfgaauw
Fred Delfgaauw has one upcoming show in the Netherlands: on November 18, 2026 at Cool Kunst en Cultuur, Heerhugowaard.
About
Fred Delfgaauw spent close to fifty years on Dutch and Flemish theatre stages, building a body of work that blends humor with real emotional weight. He's known for getting a big effect out of very little, which is a big part of what makes his storytelling stand out. Over the years he created a gallery of recurring characters, among them De Baby, Mevrouw Rouwbos and De Heer van Onderen. His award winning productions include Mozart, Paradijsvogels and Wachtkamer van de Liefde. In a farewell programme he stitched highlights from all of this into one collage, letting the audience pick which stories and characters they wanted to revisit.
