French II builds his sound around wobbly basslines, breaks, and techno, tied together with meticulous sound design. His releases on Unknown Untitled, Nerve Collect, and Intercept show a producer comfortable moving across a wide range of electronic music territory, balancing club focused material with darker, more melancholic textures and room for experimentation. He has performed live as part of the group A# alongside Alberta Balsam, Bastian Benjamin, and Milio, with appearances at Draaimolen and Speedy J's STOOR Live during Pink Noise. French II also debuted a solo live set at Draaimolen, which became one of the most talked about moments of that festival edition.
