About
Also known as: Frida Elin Green
Frida Green, the Swedish singer from Ystad, made early waves as a featured vocalist on Badpojken's 2015 single "Johnny G (The Guidetti Song)", which hit number one on the Sverigetopplistan. She also performed the classic "O helga natt" during SVT's Luciamorgon broadcast for Saint Lucy's Day in 2017, reaching a national audience well before she became a solo act in her own right. She landed a spot in the final of Talang 2018, Sweden's Got Talent equivalent, and followed that up with her debut single "Beat 'Em Up" in 2019. She later released "What Would Greta Do?", a tribute to climate activist Greta Thunberg, and in 2021 she competed in Melodifestivalen with "The Silence", a track penned by Anna Bergendahl and a team of seasoned Swedish songwriters. The song reached the Andra Chansen round before being knocked out.
