About
Brussels gets the credit in the database, but Ganja White Night actually came together in Mons, Belgium, back in 2004, the brainchild of Benjamin Bayeul and Charlie Dodson. They built their own infrastructure early on, launching the digital label SubCarbon Records in 2009, and have since stacked up 12 studio albums ranging from the self titled debut to 2023's Unity and 2025's Sprouted. Their sound sits deep in the dubstep and riddim corner of the bass music world, full of the kind of low end weight that rattles speakers properly. Just as recognizable as their music is the animated universe they created around a character called Mr. Wobble, brought to life visually by Belgian street artist Ebo. The videos give the duo a distinctive identity that goes well beyond the average producer project. They have worked with a wide spread of collaborators including Subtronics, Zeds Dead, GRiZ, and Liquid Stranger, and since 2019 they have been based in Los Angeles.
