About
Geese built their reputation the hard way, recording early material in a basement in Fort Greene before most people had even heard of them. The Brooklyn rock band blends indie rock, art rock, post punk and experimental rock into something that critics have consistently found hard to pin down, with frontman Cameron Winter's vocals drawing particular attention for their range. Their 2021 debut on Partisan Records, Projector, was mixed by Dan Carey and announced them properly to the wider world. They followed it with 3D Country in 2023, produced by James Ford, and their fourth album Getting Killed in 2025, which landed on year end lists at both Stereogum and The New Yorker. The band cite The Velvet Underground, Television, The Strokes and Radiohead as touchstones, which gives you a rough map of the territory they're working in.
