About

Also known as: Daniel Garcia Felicione Napoleão

Gloria Groove is the drag persona of Daniel Garcia Felicione Napoleão, a Brazilian singer, rapper, songwriter, and voice actor from São Paulo. The name itself is a nod to two things at once: the Portuguese Protestant church term for hymns and the musical idea of groove rooted in Black music, which tells you a lot about the sound she brings. Her singing career kicked off in early 2016 with the single "Dona", and she followed it up fast with "Império" and a feature on Aretuza Lovi's Carnival hit "Catuaba". Her debut album O Proceder landed in February 2017, with standout tracks like "Gloriosa" and "Muleke Brasileiro". Late 2017 brought "Bumbum de Ouro", one of her biggest songs, which topped Spotify Brazil's viral chart and racked up over five million YouTube views in three weeks. Collabs with Pabllo Vittar, Léo Santana, and Anitta cemented her place at the center of Brazil's pop scene.
