About
Originally from Scotland, Gordon Smith spent time in London during the era when Paul McCartney and Phil Collins were at their peak, and he built his reputation alongside names like these in the pop world. Since the late 1970s he has been based in the Dutch province of Limburg, where he has become a beloved fixture on the local music scene. His voice is the first thing people notice: expressive, lived in, and deeply musical. His guitar playing sits in a tradition that draws comparisons to players like Mike Rutherford and Mark Knopfler, and the way his vocals and guitar work together is genuinely something special. He performs as a complete package, voice and instrument in close, natural conversation with each other.
