About
Gosse Bosma is a singer songwriter from Dordrecht whose sound leans on the melodies and storytelling of Frank Turner, with a streak of Dutch farmland rock thrown in. His songs draw on the good and bad stories from a life on the road, and the Friese surname hints at the stubborn bit of hope that runs through them. Before going solo he played in the band Vokatus, which landed slots at Appelpop, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Big Rivers. After plenty of wild years he stepped away from band life and picked up just a guitar and his voice to win over a crowd. He writes Dutch language pop rock and has put out EPs in that style, sometimes with a backing band to add some weight.
