About
Also known as: 그루비룸
GroovyRoom are the South Korean production duo behind some of the most sought after beats in the Korean hip hop scene. Park Gyu jeong and Lee Hwi min work primarily in boom bap and trap, and their signature producer tag "Groovy Everywhere" has become a mark of quality across countless tracks. Their debut single "Loyalty" dropped in 2016, followed by the EP Everywhere in 2017, and they have since picked up Producer of the Year at the Korean Hip hop Awards and Best Hip hop Maker at the Soribada Best K Music Awards. In 2019 they teamed up with Leellamarz of Ambition Musik for the full collaboration album Room Service, showing they could carry a project front to back. They have also expanded beyond just making beats: in 2021 they launched their own label AREA under H1ghr Music, signing singer Gemini and rapper Mirani to the roster.
