Cosimo Fini, better known as Guè (formerly Gué Pequeno), is one of the most prominent figures in Italian hip hop. Alongside Jake La Furia and producer Don Joe, he built his reputation as a core member of Club Dogo, but his solo run has been just as impressive. His 2011 debut Il ragazzo d'oro featured a who's who of Italian rap, and by 2014 his follow up Bravo ragazzo had gone platinum. He made history in 2015 by becoming the first Italian artist to sign with Def Jam Recordings. Over the years he has worked with international names like Benny the Butcher, Kool G Rap, Rick Ross, Akon and Jadakiss, while staying deeply rooted in the Italian scene through collaborations with Marracash, Sfera Ebbasta and Fedez. He and rapper Marracash released the joint album Santeria in 2016, widely regarded as a landmark in Italian rap. In 2021 he dropped the Pequeno from his name, simply going by Guè, saying he was old enough to leave it behind.
