About
Guldimund is the solo project of Danish singer songwriter Asger Nordtorp Pedersen, who has been building a quietly impressive body of work in Danish indie rock since 2016. His second album, Jeg venter i lyset, released in 2023, earned some serious praise from critics who called it "the newborn piece of cultural heritage", which is a bold thing to say about any record. That followed his 2021 debut Dem, vi plejede at være, and together the two albums show an artist who clearly means it. Outside his solo work, he is also part of the bands TÅRN and Blaue Blume, and he has performed at the Roskilde Festival. He has picked up three Steppeulven awards along the way.
