Hadise is a Belgian born Turkish singer who blends R&B with eastern influences, a combination that clicked with audiences in both Belgium and Turkey. She broke through with her debut album Sweat in 2005, which produced five singles including the charting hits Milk Chocolate Girl and Bad Boy. Her second album, the self titled Hadise from 2008, pushed her even further, with the Sezen Aksu translated single Deli Oglan becoming one of the most played club tracks in Turkey that summer. The real turning point came in 2009 when she represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest with Düm Tek Tek, finishing fourth with 177 points. The song also became her first number one in Belgium, holding the top spot for three weeks. Since then she has planted herself firmly in the Turkish music scene, releasing albums like Asк Kaс Beden Giyer, Tavsiye and Sampiyon, while also becoming a judge on O Ses Türkiye, the Turkish version of The Voice.
