Haemorrhage have been dragging goregrind out of Coslada, Spain since the early 1990s, building a reputation on surgical outfits, Lugubrious drenched in blood at the mic, and some of the most relentlessly grim music the genre has to offer. Heavily influenced by Carcass, the band carved out their own identity through a string of releases on Morbid Records before signing to Relapse Records, where they put out Hospital Carnage and We Are the Gore. Guitarist Luisma handles nearly all the artwork, keeping the visual identity firmly in house. Over the course of seven studio albums, Haemorrhage have also racked up an almost absurd number of splits and EPs, collaborating with acts like Exhumed, Impaled, and Nunslaughter. The lineup has remained remarkably stable at its core, with Luisma, Lugubrious, Ana, and Ramón all holding down their roles since the mid 1990s. Few bands in the goregrind world can claim that kind of staying power.
