Hans Veldhuizen leads the interactive choral programme Zing en Ontdek, guiding participants through major works of the classical repertoire by combining active listening with communal singing. His sessions give people a way into complex compositions from the inside out, exploring how a piece is built and what it means rather than just hearing it from a distance. He has led editions focused on Handel's Messiah and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, unpacking the musical language and ideas behind each work. No choral experience is required to take part, and that openness is central to his approach: whether someone sings in a choir every week or has never tried it at all, Veldhuizen's sessions are designed to make the music feel accessible and alive.
