About
Also known as: DJ Hardwell
Twice voted the world's number one DJ by DJ Mag, in 2013 and 2014, Hardwell is the kind of name that fills main stages at Ultra, Tomorrowland and Sunburn without much debate. Born Robbert van de Corput in Breda, Netherlands, he built his reputation on a knack for big room house and electro house that hits hard in open air arenas. His 2012 track "Spaceman" sold over half a million copies in the US alone and is widely credited with pushing big room house into the mainstream. He also runs Revealed Recordings, the label he founded in 2010 to platform young electronic talent, releasing a compilation series every year and signing artists like W&W, Dannic and Dyro. His debut studio album United We Are arrived in 2015, and after a self imposed break from touring that started in 2018, he came back swinging in 2022 with his second album Rebels Never Die, closing out Ultra Miami's main stage on his return night. Tracks like "Dare You" with Matthew Koma and "Young Again" with Chris Jones show a more vocal, melody driven side alongside his festival weapons, and his weekly podcast Hardwell On Air has been running since 2011 on stations including Slam! and SiriusXM.
