Harrysong, born Harrison Tare Okiri in Warri, Nigeria, built his name on a knack for infectious Afropop and a collaborative spirit that pulls in some of the biggest names in Nigerian music. His tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the Most Downloaded Callertune Award at The Headies 2013, which put him firmly on the map. From there he dropped "Beta Pikin" in 2014, a chart hit that earned him a Nigeria Entertainment Awards nomination for Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year. Signed to Five Star Music after a connection through Kcee, he released his debut album Testify in 2012 through QuestionMark Entertainment. His single "Reggae Blues" brought together Olamide, Iyanya, Kcee and Orezi for one of the more memorable Afropop posse cuts of that era. He has kept releasing music across the years, with the album Kingmaker in 2017, the EP Right About Now in 2020 featuring the track "Konna" with Rudeboy, and God Amongst Men arriving in 2023.
