Héctor Oaks is a Spanish techno DJ and producer who built his name in Berlin on vinyl only DJ sets that hit fast and hard. Originally from Madrid, he relocated to the German capital in 2013 and quickly earned a reputation at some of the most demanding rooms in the world, including Berghain and Herrensauna, as well as major festivals like Sónar, Tomorrowland, and Awakenings. His sound draws on Detroit and Chicago techno alongside European club culture, and he became a resident at Tbilisi's influential Bassiani club. On the label side, he runs two imprints: OAKS, launched in 2016, and KAOS, which followed in 2019, both used to put out his own productions and collaborative work. His debut album As We Were Saying came out in 2018 on the Bassiani label, and he followed that up with Fuego Universal in 2023.
