About
Hedon Academy isn't a band at all. It's a talent development programme run by Hedon Talentsupport in Zwolle, built to help young musicians grow into professionals. It offers practical workshops, in depth sessions and networking opportunities, all aimed at pushing artists' careers up a level. The programme works together with the Deltion College (its Muzikant course) and ArtEZ University of the Arts (Classical Music, Music Teacher and Jazz & Pop), all in Zwolle. Students get more than musical coaching. They learn how to organise things, think in terms of the market, pick up technical tips and see how a music venue puts its programme together. They also practise working with other disciplines, so they come out versatile and ready for real working life as musicians.
