About
Hernán Cattáneo is one of Argentina's most respected progressive house DJs, a Buenos Aires native who built a global reputation by earning the right ears at the right moment. When Paul Oakenfold caught his set during a residency at Clubland Pacha in the mid 1990s, Oakenfold invited him to open on worldwide tours, which cracked open an international audience and led to a deal with Oakenfold's Perfecto Records. From there, Cattáneo became a Cream resident in both Liverpool and Ibiza, played Creamfields, Exit and Refresh Festival, and climbed as high as No. 6 in the DJ Mag Top 100. His sets lean deep and hypnotic, rooted in a slow burning progressive house sound that rewards patient listening. Lately he has been putting out music including collaborations with Soundexile and Husa and Zeyada, and a remix of the Soda Stereo classic En La Ciudad de La Furia.
