About
Het Voorwoord came out of a brainstorm between four friends sitting in an Irish pub, and the band comes from Groningen. Their sound mixes indie rock with Dutch language pop and the occasional dash of punk, swinging between raw outbursts and quieter, more restrained moments. There's no fixed frontman or lead guitarist here. Pretty much every member can play several instruments, so roles can shift from song to song. It's a young band, started out of a shared love of music and a wish to share it with their home city.
