About
After thirty six years of making music together, Hexagon Ensemble brought their run to a close with a farewell programme called Sweet Memories. The ensemble built their reputation on a sparkling, virtuoso approach to chamber music, and their final concert reflected exactly that, featuring works including Poulenc's Sextuor and a Mozart quintet in E flat. A colourful mix of repertoire held together by a genuine and unconditional love for the music: that pretty much sums up what Hexagon Ensemble stood for across more than three decades.
