Hilary Duff's second album, Metamorphosis (2003), was the kind of record that made careers: it hit number one on the Billboard 200 and went four times platinum in the US, cementing her status as the defining pop star of the early 2000s teen Disney wave. Her sound ranged from bubbly pop anthems to sharper, more personal territory on Dignity (2007), an album she co wrote entirely herself. She has sold an estimated 15 million records worldwide, and Billboard placed her at number 73 on their Top 100 Women Artists of the 21st Century chart. Beyond music, she built a genuinely varied career: playing Kelsey Peters across six seasons of the TV Land series Younger, then producing and starring in the Hulu sitcom How I Met Your Father. She also topped the New York Times Best Seller list with her debut novel Elixir. Her sixth studio album, Luck... or Something, came out in 2026 on Atlantic Records, her first new album in over a decade.
