About
Ineffekt is a Dutch producer and DJ who is hard to pin down in a single sentence, and that seems to be the point. His own releases and his sets share the same feel: familiar enough to move to, but never quite predictable. He layers shimmering vocals over dreamy melodies and offbeat rhythms, and he's happy to let different eras and styles sit side by side. Electro, house and alt pop all find a place in his world, which is why his sound refuses to settle into one box. He has played the main stage at Orbit Festival, as well as slots at WAS. and Wilde Weide Festival. The database tags him with UK garage and hard house, a good hint at how much ground his sets cover.
