About
Eindhoven death metal outfit Inferum made a serious statement early on when they took third place at the W:O:A Metal Battle in 2017, the best result the Netherlands had ever achieved in that worldwide Wacken Open Air competition. Their debut EP Modern Massacre came out the same year, followed by the single Autophagia, which featured guest vocals from CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder. Their full length debut Human Disposal landed in 2019, cementing the direction they had been building toward. The band plays the festival circuit with conviction, having appeared at Baroeg Open Air, Occultfest, and Stonehenge Festival. The current lineup features Morrison de Boer on vocals, David Luiten and Remco Schouten on guitars, Ozzy Voskuilen on bass, and Wouter Macare on drums. For fans of heavy, uncompromising death metal with a Dutch edge, Inferum deliver exactly what the name suggests.
