About
Jah Works have been flying the flag for roots reggae out of Baltimore, Maryland for decades, building a catalogue that stretches from their 1994 debut Feast Or Famine through to Believe in 2016. Their name is a nod to The Gladiators, borrowed directly from that reggae group's song of the same name. The band has racked up a serious amount of road time, including multiple Armed Forces Entertainment tours performing for U.S. troops across the Middle East, East Asia, and the Pacific. Studio albums like Bassmentality and Hard To Find show a band that kept refining their sound through the years, with a firm grip on the dub and reggae traditions while staying active and prolific well into the 2010s.
