He left Australia at the end of 2010 and relocated to Berlin, rebuilding his career from scratch in Europe. His stage presence has the easy, unhurried confidence you often find in Australian performers, and his songwriting backs it up with real substance. The streaming track Early Morning Coffee Cups brought him a wider audience in 2017, but it is only one piece of a much larger picture. His eighth album Half Of It shows the same careful craft that runs through all his work, with every song carrying the weight of a musician who has been honing this thing for a long time.
