About
Jamie Duffy built a quiet kind of momentum before most people knew his name. His debut single "Solas" hit number one in the classical charts across multiple countries and became the most successful debut release from an Irish artist since Hozier's "Take Me to Church", which is no small thing. Signed to Irish indie label Rubyworks, he blends neoclassical, traditional Irish and popular elements, mostly through piano, tin whistle, voice and orchestration, drawing inspiration from Ludovico Einaudi, Enya and Irish traditional music. His debut EP On a Wing was produced in collaboration with Icelandic composer Atli Örvarsson, and he supported Andrea Bocelli at BST Hyde Park in 2024. He has written and appeared on tracks with The Coronas, Moncrieff and others, and in 2025 he sold out two shows at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, one of them on St Patrick's Day, making him one of the youngest artists to headline that room. His self titled debut album followed in October 2025.
