About
Jan.O en de Overige Bandleden is a Dutch language music collective built around Jano, a self described singing poet and psychologist who left a career in techno to pursue something entirely different. His lyrics draw on personal adventures and psychological insight, giving the band a reflective yet playful quality that sets them apart from the usual guitar band fare. The group rounds out with Dion Peters, Nick Pauptit, Dana Havrylyuk and Jop Willemsen, a bunch of close friends whose varied musical backgrounds feed into a sound they make with obvious enjoyment. They have performed at ParkCity Live, one of the bigger pop and culture festivals in Limburg, at the Ramblas during the Nijmegen Four Days Marches, and at the Aan de Waterkant festival in Venlo.
