Janna Baerends made a strong impression on the Dutch TV show Talent Unplugged, winning the finale with a performance style that moved both the panel and the audience. Her cover of Charles Aznavour's 'She' was one of the standout moments. She writes and performs her own material, accompanying herself on guitar and piano, drawing inspiration from the great singer songwriters of the seventies. Storytelling sits at the heart of what she does, with a warm voice and a personal touch that keeps things intimate. Her debut single is called 'She Knows Me Now (The Silent Song)', and a debut album is in the works.
