Jar of Dirt

About

Jar of Dirt is an acoustic tribute band from Oss with one very specific mission: recreating Alice in Chains' MTV Unplugged session. That performance is treated as something close to sacred ground, so the band approaches it with a lot of respect and nerve. They play pretty much the whole Unplugged set, plus a handful of carefully picked fan favourites, all fully acoustic. With no volume to hide behind, the focus lands squarely on the songs themselves, the tension, the melancholy and the raw emotion that make Alice in Chains what they are. Expect heavy, stripped back takes on classics like Nutshell, Rooster and No Excuses. This is not a casual covers night but a committed, almost reverent run through one of the best known sessions in rock history.
