About
Erwin Java is a guitarist with a long career behind him, having spent 25 years with Cuby & the Blizzards and also played with White Honey, Herman Brood's Wild Romance, and King of the World. His playing is rooted in blues, and that bluesy character runs through everything he does. Together with Sheffield vocalist Sean Webster, whom he met during the theatre production The Sound of Blues & Americana, Java recorded a ten track collaborative album under the name JAVA | WEBSTER. The two wrote the material during the lockdown period, and the result blends blues with rock, soul and ballads. Live, audiences can expect gritty vocals, sweeping melodies and Java's signature guitar work.
