JHAYCO, born Jesús Manuel Nieves Cortés in Puerto Rico, built a serious songwriting reputation before most people knew his name as a performer. He penned tracks for Zion & Lennox and wrote for Tito El Bambino, including a song on an album that won a Latin Grammy. That behind the scenes grind eventually gave way to a front of stage career, and his 2019 debut album Famouz landed on the Billboard 200 and went triple platinum through the RIAA. The real turning point came in 2020 when he and Bad Bunny dropped "Dakiti," which hit number one on the Billboard Global 200 and cracked the top ten of the Hot 100. His 2021 album Timelezz brought in collaborators like Anuel AA and Skrillex and peaked at number two on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. More recently he has kept busy with features and his 29 track album Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X), which pulled in names like Quevedo, Yandel and DJ Khaled.
