About
Also known as: Jocelyn Stoker, Joscelyn Eve Stoker, Joscelyn Stoker, Джосс Стоун
Joss Stone burst onto the scene as a teenager with The Soul Sessions in 2003, a debut so strong it landed on the Mercury Prize shortlist and helped establish her as one of the best selling soul artists of the 2000s. Her follow up, Mind Body & Soul, made her the youngest British female singer to top the UK Albums Chart, and the single 'You Had Me' became her biggest UK hit. By her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, she was cracking the US top five on the Billboard 200, a rare achievement for a British female solo artist at the time. With 15 million records sold worldwide, she has two Brit Awards and a Grammy to her name. Stone's music has always moved around freely within the soul and R&B space, but she has also taken detours into reggae with Water for Your Soul, a number one on the US Reggae Albums chart and the best selling reggae album in the country that year. She has also done film and TV work, including a memorable turn as Anne of Cleves in The Tudors. Her eighth studio album, Never Forget My Love, came out in 2022, the same year she released her first Christmas album, Merry Christmas, Love.
