About
Also known as: Jumping Matt and His Combo
Matyas Pribojszki, who performs as Jumping Matt, has built a serious reputation as one of the sharper harmonica players working in blues and soul today. He is an official Hohner endorser, has a gold album to his name, and has racked up 16 albums across a career that has taken him to 30 countries on three continents. His music sits somewhere between traditional blues and boogie, with jazz and soul woven in throughout. Over the years he has shared stages with some heavy names in the blues world, including Charlie Musselwhite, Bob Margolin, Duke Robillard and Ian Siegal, among many others. Live, his combo is known for high energy sets that lean hard into the physical, celebratory side of the music.
