About
Sydney deathcore outfit Justice for the Damned have been building their reputation on a sound that leans into feelings of hopelessness and despair, which drove the writing behind their 2017 debut album Dragged Through the Dirt. That record came together with producer Sam Basal, and set the tone for what the band was going for. For their follow up, they made a serious commitment: relocating to New Jersey to record with Will Putney, one of the go to names in heavy music production. The result was Pain Is Power, released in June 2020. The lineup features Bobak Rafiee on vocals, guitarists Nick Adams and Kieran Molloy, bassist Ben Mirfin, and drummer Chas Levi. A third album, Stay Relentless, is also part of their discography.
