About
Jyoty built her name on sets that refuse to stay in one lane: baile funk, amapiano, afrobeats, dancehall, jungle, grime, garage and R&B can all show up in the same hour. Her 2019 Boiler Room set went viral, pulling in over 5 million plays across YouTube and TikTok, and she has since played Brixton Academy, KOKO, Paradiso and festivals like Glastonbury, Parklife and All Points East. Her weekly Rinse FM show, running since 2017, is where she has long championed new talent and interviewed names like Cardi B and Princess Nokia. She also runs Homegrown, club nights with a no phones policy and secret line ups that sell out fast in cities like Amsterdam, London and New York. In 2025 she led the Homegrown crew at Red Bull's Culture Clash at Drumsheds, and headlined Alexandra Palace with her own one night event, Jyoty's Palace. She hasn't released original music, her mixes and radio shows are the main event.
