Kaci Brown has a knack for turning up in unexpected places. The Texas born singer and songwriter signed her first publishing deal as a staff writer with Roy and Barbara Orbison's Still Working Music before pivoting from country to pop and landing a tour slot with the Backstreet Boys. Her debut album Instigator, released through Interscope Records in 2005, saw her co write nearly every track with producer Toby Gad. Since then she has kept busy behind the scenes, penning songs for artists like Greyson Chance and Pixie Lott, and showing up on Bone Thugs N Harmony's 2017 album New Waves on the track "That Girl". She also writes and performs as one half of the country duo Brown and Gray alongside Sam Gray.
