Kers Beej Dich

About

Kers Beej Dich is a Christmas show built around Marinho Peters and his own big band, conducted by Charles Coppens. The idea is simple and a bit cheeky: take familiar Christmas classics, give them bold new arrangements, and sing them with lyrics in Marinho's own local dialect, so songs everyone knows suddenly feel like new ones. It plays out in theaters rather than big halls, which keeps the atmosphere close and cosy. Marinho treats the evening like an invitation to his Christmas table, and he makes room for requests and wishes from the audience, which gives each show a personal touch. The first edition went down so well that it came back for a second round.
