KETTAMA, the alias of Galway native Evan Campbell, broke through in 2018 with "B O D Y" from the Bucklyn Bridge EP, a track that spread internationally after heavy rotation from Mall Grab and Annie Mac. That blend of driving electronic energy with an identifiable hook set the tone for everything that followed. He co founded G Town Records in 2019 with fellow Galway artist Shampain, keeping things rooted in his hometown even as his profile grew well beyond Ireland. By 2024 he was playing Glastonbury, Coachella, and Boomtown, and the year before he sold out a homecoming show at the Galway International Arts Festival. His track "It Gets Better (Forever Mix)" charted in Ireland in 2025, and "Comes And Goes" later topped the Irish Homegrown Chart. He also landed a residency on BBC Radio 1 Dance that year, cementing his place as one of the more compelling voices in Irish electronic music right now.
