About
Koekoekskoor is the children's choir of OBS De Koekoek, a primary school in the Vogelenbuurt neighbourhood of Utrecht. The choir brings together over 90 kids between the ages of 6 and 12, all under the direction of Meike Veenhoven. Their repertoire spans theatrical songs from musicals and children's films alongside music from a range of world cultures. The group also takes on part singing and canon work, giving their performances a bit more depth than your average school choir.
