About
Also known as: Lewis Roberts
Koreless is the Welsh producer who ended up with a Grammy for helping shape FKA twigs' album Eusexua, which won Best Dance/Electronic Album. Behind the stage name is Lewis Roberts, who now spends most of his time in Glasgow. He started out with the 4D EP in 2011, pressed as a limited 12 inch, then followed up with the single "Lost in Tokyo" and a spot at the 2012 Red Bull Music Academy Summit in New York. His early years were busy with collaborations. He teamed up with Sampha as Short Stories, premiering "Let It Go" in a Boiler Room set, and signed to Young Turks before releasing the Yügen EP. "Never" ended up in the film Men, Women & Children. Live, he has played with a string trio and supported Mogwai and Caribou. His debut album Agor arrived in 2021, and he has also scored music for choreographer Sharon Eyal's piece Into the Hairy. "Seven" followed in 2024.
